About the Team at Farm Adventure
None of what we do would be possible without our dedicated team who pride themselves on creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment for all who visit us…

Rob & Laura
Where it all began!
Rob is a dairy farmer by upbringing, and then started his own farm over 20 years ago on the same estate that he was brought up on.
Laura has worked in cities all over the UK, but is a country girl at heart.
They came together when Rob came up with the most awesome idea of “farm styled team building activities”, and wanted to collaborate with someone who was passionate about his idea … so Laura joined him on this mission in 2011! They built Farm Adventure together, expanding the activities and accommodation, realised they needed to provide all this fun to the west side of the country, so set up in Shropshire too! They also got together and got married, had a couple of kids, so between them, things are constantly crazy, but they wouldn’t change it for the world!

Will
Dramatic Events Instructor!
Will is the most dramatic and artistic member of the team! Having studied at the Pauline Quirk Academy when younger, he has a natural flair for acting, which is perfect for our groups who love a bit of drama! Now having finished Law at uni, Rob won’t let him rest, needing his energy on the farm for as much work as he can get out of Will!

Ben
Cheeky Events Instructor!
A local lad through-and-through, Ben has been with us for the longest, and loves running groups!
In 2020, after serving a local care home for 19 years, Ben joined Farm Adventure You’ll likely meet Ben as he hosts your group activities, taking the mick out of you all, but behind the scenes he does everything from fence-building and field mowing, to hot-tub scrubbing and more!
Rosie
Cleanser of all Facilities!
Rosie is a local lass from “round the corner”, and has come in to help with the mammoth task of changeovers & keeping this place clean for our customers! She is a grafter – even with 2 young children, she’s juggling enough already, nevermind the fact that she has sheep of her own plus helps at lambing time for other farmers!

Sharon
Animal Whisperer & Farm Manager!
Sharon has taken on the huge task of looking after the farm in North Yorkshire! No small job, but she has a wealth of experience, as a farmer’s daughter, plus plenty of time working in farm related businesses over the year. She’s our “go-to” person for so many farm questions, and she is always happy to help, and has an awesome sense of humour too, so it’s a lot of giggles, even when things go wrong!

Kelly
"Sabotage Queen" Yorkshire Events Manager!
Kelly has taken on the big job of admin & running events in North Yorkshire! A woman not afraid of work either, dealing with the copius amount of logistics for all the events throughout the years, plus running events on the day! She loves it and has especially loved telling her 2 young sons about having driven tractors all day! Not to mention the conflict she loves to cause with encouraging sabotage!

Frankie
"Banter-loving" Activities Instructor!
This lady is an absolute asset to Farm Adventure! She rocks up for our group team building events, be it a corporate mid-week event, or stag & hen groups on a weekend, with oodles of energy and smiles! Despite her being so young, she is not afraid of all of the many groups, some of them fairly big in their numbers and will boss them around without hesitation! She knows how to have a laugh while keeping them in order!
Donna
Socials Wizz & Shropshire Events Manager!
Donna has been an absolute gem of a find! Not even going to play that down! She already has experience working in events, more particularly weddings, plus weddings on a small holding, so only too familiar with animals and people! Donna heads up the Farm Adventure Shropshire site and within only a few weeks has mastered all aspects of the place and how events work. She loves working with her team in Yorkshire & Shropshire and will put her hand to all tasks required!

Cara
Dedicated Activities Instructor!
Cara joined the team as another family member – this time, Donna’s sister-in-law! Studying at uni and then continuing with even more studies, Cara added Farm Adventure to her portfolio, primarily focusing on running on our groups, plus because she’s so adaptable and loves Farm Adventure, she’s taken on BBQing and other odd jobs to help our with running Shropshire! She is fabulous with our groups and definitely loves the banter!

Eva
Adventurous Activities Instructor!
Having started with us in 2026, Eva is made for Farm Adventure ... she's studying Outdoor Activities at College! A local lass, she's thrown herself amoungst the grown ups, instructing wacky hen parties and full on corporate groups at our Shropshire site! She loves the outdoors with a passion, along with a huge love of animals, especially dogs, taking part in Canicross regularly. Having worked with horses as well, the sheep and pigs are no problem for her, nor are a few mucking out jobs!

Ellie
Loud & Chatty Activities Instructor!
Another member of the family has finally joined the Farm Adventure Yorkshire team! Having waited patiently for her chance to come on board, Ellie is now working with our groups and thriving on the fun, banter, and high-energy atmosphere. A true people person with a farming background, she combines her love of the countryside with a keen interest in agriculture and is pursuing a career in agronomy. Her enthusiasm, friendly nature, and passion for farming make her a fantastic addition to the team.

Jules
BBQ Maestro!
Jules joined us as our resident BBQ queen, bringing years of experience from local cafés and kitchens. As the partner of the local butcher, she's somehow ended up being responsible for keeping everyone fed and making all our famous burgers! With plenty of banter and a knack for keeping things running smoothly, Jules is a much-loved part of the team.
Jules loves the atmosphere at Farm Adventure and enjoys being part of a team that creates unforgettable days out for our guests.
Lucy
"Bold as Brass Activities Instructor"
Lucy is a local lass for our North Yorkshire team! Another law student as well as her teammate, she has a very energetic and warm personality and having only started recently, has taken to being an instructor, like a duck to water! She has already got stuck into the activities with the groups she's running, never afraid to join in the banter and the laughs with the groups.
Connie
Clearly the most important one of all!
No longer a puppy, this fox-red mongrel lab-springer, is an absolute gem to have around the place. She has full run of the farm in Yorkshire, and will mostly be seen at BBQ time, begging everyone for their scraps, as if she’s never been fed! She is completely mad for the quad bike or pickup, and will be seen running for miles, while barking and trying to get herself caught under the tyres. But everyone seems to love her!

Brian
Farmer From Over the Hill, 2019 to 2022
Our fun-loving farmer, Brian, was the wackiest person you’d meet here, rivalled only by the sheep and pigs! He was brimming with interesting facts and hilarious stories from a life spent working on his own farm (located just over the hill from us). A firm favourite with our guests, Brian made both the group activities and 1-1 tractor driving experiences truly memorable. He will be sorely missed by everyone here at Farm Adventure
